Dr. Beckmann Upholstery Stain Remover is a cleaning product specifically formulated to effectively remove tough stains from upholstery fabrics. It’s designed to target and eliminate various types of stains commonly found on upholstery, such as those caused by food spills, drinks, ink, oil, red wine, grease, coffee or even pet messes can now be easily removed with the specially formulated Upholstery Stain Remover. It will also remove odours and leaving behind a subtle, fresh scent.

The product comes in a bottle with an innovative and unique triangular soft brush that is ideal to tackle hard-to-reach stains on a wide range of furniture and upholstery e.g. sofas, mattresses, soft furnishings and car seats.

My Review of Dr. Beckmann Upholstery Stain Remover

For the purpose of this test, I am using Dr. Beckmann Upholstery Stain Remover on my sofa’s footstool. We have a toddler which has resulted in multiple spills and stains forming. You may also be able to see pen marks in multiple locations across the footstool. It’s quite badly stained!

This was during the first treatment with Dr. Beckmann Upholstery Stain Remover. The brush bottle makes it very easy to apply and probably took less than 5 minutes to apply across the whole surface of the footstool :

Five minutes after the treatment, I dabbed the service with kitchen roll to take off as much of the moisture as possible.

Here is the footstool after drying for 5 hours, as you can see Dr. Beckmann Upholstery Stain Remover has successfully removed the pen and some of the staining but a lot still remains. Clearly this is going to require a second treatment.

On the second day, this was our starting point. A significant improvement from the original condition, but still some viable stains :

Let’s be honest, the results are not perfect but I am actually pretty pleased with the results. The horrible staining and pen marks are gone. As I write, the remaining marks are not at all noticeable in most lights – it actually looks much worse in the photo than it actually looks in real-life.

Would I recommend Dr. Beckmann Upholstery Stain Remover?

Short answer, yes I would.

The results are pretty good and the cleaning process was very easy. The cleaning process was possible without any mess and probably took no longer than 10 minutes for all the applications (excluding the time required for the product to air dry).
