Review: Kärcher WV 2 Plus Window Vac (and a side by side comparison to the Kärcher WV 1)

The Kärcher WV 2 Plus Window Vac provides efficient and hassle-free window cleaning, offering an upgraded experience from its predecessor, the Kärcher WV 1.

You may recall that I recently reviewed the Kärcher WV 1 Window Vac with a glowing report, but as a new proud owner of Kärcher WV 2 Plus Window Vac (an excellent Christmas present!), I wanted to provide a side by side comparison of the two window vacs and let you know which one to buy.

Kärcher WV 2 Plus Window Vac – Design and Build Quality

The WV 2 Plus boasts the same sleek and ergonomic design as the WV 1, comfortably fitting in hand and providing an effortless cleaning experience.

As before, the window vac’s lightweight construction makes maneuvering around windows, mirrors or tiles a breeze, reducing strain during extended cleaning sessions.

Kärcher WV 2 Plus Window Vac – Enhanced Performance

The standout feature of the WV 2 Plus is its enhanced performance.

With an extended runtime of approximately 35 minutes per charge compared to 25 mins of the WV 1, it offers more cleaning time, ensuring I can tackle multiple windows or larger surfaces without interruptions.

The improved suction nozzle width (280mm vs 250mm on the WV 1) has significantly reduced the number of passes required, effectively vacuuming up moisture, dirt, and cleaning solution without streaks or drips.

This wider nozzle covers more surface area, allowing for quicker and more efficient cleaning, especially on larger windows or glass doors. This made a massive difference in our tests.

Its suction power effectively removes condensation and leaves surfaces sparkling clean, while the lightweight design makes it easy to use on various vertical or horizontal surfaces.
